Just a quick post to say how well Andy Murray played at Wimbledon this year. Most people wrote Murray off before the tournament started. If we exclude the final the Murray Vs Gasquet match was the match of the tournament without any doubt!
Lets just hope that Murray continues on from his good performance at Wimbledon and go on and have a great end of year, resulting in a deserved place at the end of year masters series event.
I just wanted to say how well Andy Murray played against Gasquet on Monday night at Wimbledon, what a fantastic match. My original prediction was that Murray would go out in the quater finals, however I really hope I’m wrong and that he puts up a great show against Nadal. If he gets past Nadal who knows what could happen. Andy would certainly be a great contender to give Federer a run for his money!
After winning the Aussie open Djokivic has lost to a qualifier in a Sony Erricsson open. Top players losing to relatively unknown players is becoming a bit of a trend this year and could make for some interesting results. Already this year both Andy Murray, Roger Federer and Nadal have lost matches they should have easily won.
How will the top players perform for the rest of the year who knows, but will any player other than Federer, Nadal or Djokovic win a Grand Slam? Probably not, the only player that could push them is going to be Andy Murray.
