Can Murray go all the way?

7 09 2008

Murray just played his best ever match in beat Nadal in the US Open semi final.  Murray mow becomes the first brit since 1997 to reach the US open final.  THe one player that now stands in his way is Federer.  The final could be onpen of the greatest matches in a long time with Federer fighting to regain his world no1 spot and Murray fighting for his 1st grand salm title.

Who’s going to win? Well in my opinion it could go either way, if Murray plays like he did against Nadal then the match should be his, you also have to take in to account the form of Federer so far this year hasnt been great for Roger so tis really is his chance to really shine for the fisrt time this year!  My moneys on Murray.

Lets just hope for a 5 set thriller

Wimbledon Final

11 07 2008

What a great Wimbledon final, needless to say Federer should have won with all the chances that he was handed on a plate.  however you have to hand it to Nadal, when Federer had a bad service game which he did, once in each set Nadal took his chance without hesitation.

It goes without saying that the press attention surrounding Nadal over the coming weeks is going to be huge since he just won the most important and respected tennis grand slam event of the year!  You will no doubt see Nadal appearing on TV, in posters on business cards and on all forms of leaflet printing and flyer printing.

Is Nadal going to continue with this form?  Yes, However the loss suffered by Federer in my opinion is going to spur him on to come back better than ever!  My prediction is that Federer will go on to win the US open and the end of year masters event.

Only time will tell!
